Black friday !

Black Friday is a special holiday as a shopping day after Thanksgiving in America . On that day , nearly everything is on sale . My roommater told me that there were 65000 people in Mall of America on Black Friday last year and first 100 costumers could get free TVs . My friends and I got up at 5 am and took the first NO.16 bus in order to be early . We thought by the time we got there , there would be a large group of people waiting in lines just for getting into the mall . But after we arrived there , nothing happened . No large group of people , no long lines ---- just several people shopping normally , not crowded at all . I thought we might come here on a wrong day , maybe today was not Black Friday ! But we did see discounts . A lot of items were on sale and some of them were 50% or 60% off ! So we bought a lot . I bought a warm jacket which was 40% off for my father , some perfume for my mother and 3 hats for myself .
We had been shopping in the Mall of America for 4 hours . One of my friends bought a PS3 so after we got back , we played his PS3 for the rest of the day .....
Black Friday was fun ! I'm looking forward to next year !

Thanksgiving !

Before I came here , I already knew that Thanksgiving is an American festival which is almost the same as Moon festival in China . When Thanksgiving is coming , most people may want to go home and spend this special holiday with their familes . But as an international student , I had no place to go on Thanksgiving because my home is so far away from here . Fortunately , my uncle invited me to his party and spent this holiday with his family . We had Chinese food and turky together and played some games . I flet like I'm back to China . It's a warm feeling .

I hope I won't fail on this midterm ....

Midterm again ........
I think I didn't do well on this midterm although I did my best to review . I can memmorize 90 percent of my notes and 70 percent of the textbook , but I still can't answer questions in my teest . I can handle most questions in my quizes because those questions are almost the same as my textbook and notes . But questions in midterms are different . They get the questions from the textbook but they changed them . I can't answer those questions which are changed .
I don't know what to do , I don't want to fail this class ...

3 days in a row .....

I kept staying up late 3 days in a row ..........
I played computer games with my friends who live in Bailey on Webnesday and Thursday , we had a lot of fun there . They are all good at Warcraft 3 and we had a really close game at first . And then we played as a team online , that was fun .
Yesterday I went to a club with my friends . We danced a lot , and we saw many hot girls ~
I know it's fun but I'm tired now so I get to sleep early today .....

How I spent my first Halloween

On Halloween , I had a lot fun . I dressed as a pirate and I went to a dorm dance party on Friday . That was fun . They had free food and drink and almost everyone was wearing costume . On Saturday , I went to Spin clun with my friends . That night was crazy . We danced a lot and people got really high . I like the way how Americans celebrate a festival because it is creative and active .

Halloween !

It's my first Halloween in America so I'm really excited ! We have a Dance Party at Comstock tonight and everyone has to dress up so it's gonna be fun !
I don't have any experience about Halloween so I had no idea what I want to dress like . My roommate is gonna dress like riddler (the evil in batman who wears clothes full of question marks) . I would have to say , his costume is awesome ! He suggested me that I can be a pirate so I bought my stuff in Mall of America . I;m looking forward to the party ---- my first Halloween party !

I may fail in DHA 1201 ....

DHA 1201 is my major course , which is all about fashion industry . It's interesting but difficult because there are too many specialized words for me and it's really hard to memorize all of them . I think I work hard in both class time and outside school hours , but I didn't do well in my midterm and my quiz . I don't know why . I know those answers before tests but I just can remember them in tests ! I'm confused , what am I gonna do ? I can't fail it or I'll lose my chance to switch my major to Graphic design . I have to get at least a C !

I'll work harder , I don't want to fail it and retake it next semester ....!

My student group starts !

I want to set up my own student group ---- EC(E-sports Club) . I used to name it MEU but I think EC would be easier to memorize . But I can't find enough people so now it is only an embryonic form and I named it DC(Dota Club) . Dota is my favorite computer game ---- technically it's not a game , it's a map of Warcraft 3 . Now I have 10 people in my group including a Burmese who can help me find more Americans or international students except Chinese (I can find Chinese by my own). Also , as a member in CSU(Chinese Student Union) , I can ask them for help is I have some problems such as lack of money for advertisements . I believe I can make it ! It is the first game group in U of M and I'll be the leader .

We live with games , not by games !

MEU

I want to set up a computer games group ----MES(Minneapolis campaus E-sports Union) . "We live with games , not by games ." I like to play computer games so I want to play with more people , not matter Chinese or students from any other country . If I can set it up successfully , I'll origanize games in Coffman (like Mississippi room) and we play Dota or CS together . I think it would be fun . But it depends if I can make it .

I have been here for 1 month and a half ....

Just so you know , I have never been America before . I used to think America is a paradise which is full of happiness . But after I got here , I don't feel this way anymore because I can't understand every word people said . That is hard for me who is an international student .
Now I have been here for 1 month and a half and I think I already get used to live here . I found Americans are really polite and friendly . They always say sorry or excuse me in order to show politeness . Although they are nice , I can hardly make a good American friend here . I have many Chinese friends and we always hang out together . But here , we just do what we want to do separately . I think friends should always be together , obviously , what I think is different from Americans' thought .
I like here , and I also like the difference between here and China . I like the new life here .

One Piece

One Piece is my favourite manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, that has been serialized in Weekly (sometimes it stoped one or two weeks ).One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy who gained supernatural abilities (he can stretch every part of his body sucn as legs or arms like rubber)by eating a magical fruit called demon fruit which looks like a pineapple . He has his own ragtag crew of heroic pirates, named the Straw Hats because he always wears a straw hat . He wants to be the king of pirates in his world so he started his journey in One Piece , which is a sea area only finished travelling by the old king of pirates . Luffy got some strong partners with special skills in different areas . He is gonna fight with navy , World Government and other pirates !

Defense of the Tower Ancients

DotA was a part of War craft 3.DotA is only a single map of War3. Now the latest map is 6.63 and map creator still in progress to find new heroes to put in new maps .
I’m totally addicted to this game. This game is really easy since we just control only one single hero not as 3C or regular War3 that need to control an army and 2 or 3 heros .
If you want to play it well , you should always cooperate with your teammates because you have 4 other players in your team . When you are playing Dota , killing heros in another team is really important . You not only earn money by these kills , but also get your level up . But kill is not that easy because enemies are not stupid so if we want to kill them , we have to work with teammates . We don’t want to kill them only by ourselves , we gank , which is the most useful skill in Dota . Two or three or four heros can kill one or two easily . That’s the rule to get close to victory .
Also ,for a good combination, team should get support , tank ,pusher and killer heroes. To be a good support or pusher they should be intelligent heroes, strength heroes as a tank hero and agility hero as a killer heroes. Sometimes, support and tank also can kill if they get powerful items such as BKB .

This is a Pepsi advertisment : a boy bought two cans of Coco Cola from a vending machine , but he put them under his feet because he can't reach the Pepsi button ....... actually he wanted to buy a Pepsi ! After he got his Pepsi coke , he left those Coco behind him and then walked away . Haha , isn't that amazing ? I think it's really creative and it can make the boss of Coco company very angry . Although it might be a little mean , I like the idea . Chinese ads all suck because they don't have anything to attract viewers . But American ads can be so interesting that I don't even want to watch the show . That's why I want to be in advertising here .

I am a fan of Kobe Bryant but I'm crazy about LBJ shoes because they are way better than Zoom Kobe and hyperdunk . Zoom Kobe shoes are comfortable and pretty , but they are not durable enough . Hi , my name is Chuofan Zheng . You can just call me James . I'm a Chinese freshman who has never been America before so I hope to have some native friends . I'm in College of Design(CDes) and my major is Clothing/Apparel Design which is not that popular in China .
Later , I'll mainly focus on fashion area . But I'll also write something about sports , e-sports , music , movies , which I think are all related to fashion .
